Centrifugal Fan Study Unit (Didacta PN64D/C): The unit allows to perform basic experiments on a common centrifugal fan for industrial use. The unit is equipped with a data acquisition system along with software for Windows. The fan can operate using three different types of wheels (forward curved, radial and backward curved blades). This allows to compare the experimental results obtained using the three wheels.
Axial Fan Study Unit (Didacta PN71D/C): The unit allows studies to be carried out in order to obtain the characteristics of an industrial-type axial fan. The unit is equipped with a data acquisition system along with software for Windows. A Venturi tube, a Pitot tube and two micromanometers allow the fan operating characteristics to be measured.
